CES Quarry Products Ltd pumice blocks and bricks are produced from pumice aggregate and portland cement. Medium density blocks and bricks are made from a combination of pumice aggregate, dense aggregate and portland cement. All of our pumice blocks are compacted on modern automated machinery to achieve the required strength, appropriate density and low drying shrinkage.
Pumice is inert as the heat present during its formation has destroyed any harmful impurities. The cellular structure of pumice affords excellent resistance to the transmission of heat and sound.
CES Pumice block is not recommended for use with hollow core floor slabs. Our pumice blocks conform to – BS EN 771-3.
